GloveLove is a community art project by Studio Pulp (Belgium). Studio Pulp is responsible for this website and for the data on it. Questions about your data? Mail (the address appears when JavaScript is on).

When you pin a glove we store:

• the photo, the place, the date, the colour and your caption: these are shown on the map;
• your name: shown on the map with your gloves;
• your email address: never shown and never shared. We use it only to recognise you next time and to tell you about your gloves and badges.

Your photo is re-saved in your browser before upload. That removes the hidden photo data (camera, exact time, GPS). Only the place you confirm on the map is kept.

No advertising, no tracking cookies and no profiles. To see how the site is doing, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies, stores no IP addresses and does not follow you to other websites.

We also count how often each glove is viewed, without knowing who viewed it.

GloveLove does not use tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. A few small things are kept on your own device, only to make the site work for you:

• your name and email, after you pin a glove, so the form is filled in next time (local storage in your browser);
• which gloves you opened during this visit, so a view is counted only once (session storage, gone when you close the tab);
• a login cookie, only if you sign in to manage the site.

You can clear all of this in your browser settings at any time.

• Supabase stores the data and photos, in the EU (Paris).
• Netlify hosts the website.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits, without cookies.
• Resend sends our emails, such as the mail that your glove is on the map.
• The map tiles come from CARTO and OpenStreetMap; your browser loads them directly from their servers.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim looks up the country of a glove from its coordinates.

We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.

The GloveLove name, logo, badges and the design of this website belong to Studio Pulp. Please do not copy or reuse them without written permission.

Photos stay the property of the person who took them. By pinning a glove you confirm that you took the photo yourself, and you allow GloveLove to show it on this website and to share it on its own channels (such as Instagram), with your finder name. That permission is free and not exclusive: you can still use your photo wherever you like.

Want a photo of yours removed, or see a GloveLove photo used somewhere without permission? Mail (the address appears when JavaScript is on).

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to remove your gloves from the map. Mail (the address appears when JavaScript is on) and we will handle it within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
